That means when you squeeze on the bamboo it gives Base sound, and when you play open it is treble sound. It is most commonly used in religious songs or changing and as an accompaniment to folk singers. Typically, a bamboo is pired apart and both ends are connected with a resonator made of wood, gourd, and coconut. This Empire Ektara is features seasoned wood.
